Re: Here’s a case
I suspect that Fiskin is under pressure from the buyers legal people to provide what he's sold, so he's having to sue the seller. I wonder how much it's worth without the original gearbox?

Find your chubbiest mates and taken them for a long ride, that’ll loosen things up.

Re: Rear adjustable spax - choppy ride
IME, the best way of setting dampers is too run them full soft, then full hard, then in the middle of their adjustment. That'll give you an indication of what effect the adjusters have. Assuming that they're the correct ones for a Minor, the middle position should be fairly close. If you have to hav...

As I thought I'd said, I wasn't objecting to Jagnut (ironic user name ignored) attacking 4x4 bullies. I was objecting to him attacking a fellow member, I don't expect that Steve will turn into a 4x4 bully just because he traded in his old 4x4 for a newer 4x4. I also can't help wishing you and others...

Re: 10CC flywheel?
Cheers Phil. Hopefully I can offset some of the hassle. I really didn't think it'd be difficult to get a 1098 flywheel. First one was never sent by the seller on Ebay. Then this one isn't the right one

Re: 10CC flywheel?
Poolguy Thanks for posting the photos with rule - I can now add those dimensions to my data base. Phil Do You think it’s safe to say it’s a 10CC flywheel? I only ask because I was mistakenly sold it as suitable for my 1098 rebuild, I don’t want to pass it off on ebay as something it isn’t. And I st...

Re: 10CC flywheel?
Sorry Geo, some Midgets had a ‘stronger’ 1098 engine, the crank had 2” mains rather than 1.75”
, it’s known as a 10CC rather than 10CG.

I think you're really out of order with that post Not out of order at all. Simply expressing an opinion, based on the original post and my experience of the people who (in general) drive these types of vehicle. If you had read it properly I did say that I hoped he wasn't going to become one. Other ...

Re: Cheap winter car
I think you're really out of order with that post. There's no need for that here, no matter what you think of 4x4 vehicles and their drivers. Hi, I like proper Landrovers (pre BMW) and think there should always be room on the road for them.......... However I have to say my experience of 4X4 drivers...

Re: Heavy duty clutch
I was using ‘power’ as a catch all, as the clutch manufacturers do. The 200bhp car that they’ve used it on was turbo charged so it’s gonna be fine for a naturally aspirated 1215cc A Series

Re: Heavy duty clutch
Just to follow up, Drive Torque and Black Diamond clutches aren’t suitable for more than a 30% increase in power, so they’re not suitable. AP Racing do one but they’re out of stock and their customer service was poor. Helix make a plate and cover which will fit the 1098 flywheel with a bit of machin...
