...and this? It has a pattern or small circles and lines that represent the position of the gears.

Nothing is impossible! It takes a 'european' bulb at the mo but it is the same diameter as a UK sidelight bulb.

It also works as a reversing light since it can either turn vertically through 180 degrees or laterally through 360. I guess it might even shine into the engine bay?

It's a big 'un. About 2 inches across and has a double groove around the outermost edge. Pic to follow when I get the new camera button installed.
Outght to be good for a mould.

Same as the one on p27 of OMM

Keith. The handles are missing due to rot but the hinge bits are still there. It is only good as a kit of parts to convert a later frame assembly to internal hinges. You'd need to weld up the holes on a later frame and redrill for the internal hinges. Not worth it unless you're after the last possib...

Lowlight window frames?

I've found enough parts to convert a later frame to the lowlight internal hinge type (except rubbers), all hanging on some very rusted frames.

I recall someone asking for a set of quaterlights a while ago. Anyone remember who it was?

Ultimate MM pose?

So, what have you got? Have you polished your bronze trunnions, is your front grille spotless N.O.S., still running Dunlop 5.00 x 14 crossplies, do you still have the original purchase receipt from 1950?? Bet ya don't have one of these! It is a 5 inch lamp that mounts on a swiveling arm that goes th...

Mike. Big fat thing? (The gearknob, not you!) I've found one in the boxes of bits I bought, I think. About the size of a creme filled biscuit but dark brown? This one seems to have some pattern on it that might have been small circles or gear locations. Fits an MM gearstick. Is that it? Got a pictur...

Phew! In the light of day I think it has only scuffed some of the gills and the tubes haven't been touched. It has been nicely re-cored but it isn't going to go on our MM because it has an extra pipe in the head tank for a return line due to it having previously been on a lowlight with one of those ...

I've never seen a set with a cutout on one side only. Every set I've had have been identical sets of 4 shoes. Can you get rear sets for Riley/Wolseley brakes?

Do your brakes look like this?

8 inch rear brakes from Riley 1.5 (or Wolseley 1500?) car. They will work on the Morris Minor.

I cut a little hole in the plywood so that I can get a nozzle on the wheel to pump up the tyre without pulling the wheel out. Saves a little time and effort!

RobThomas , Make sure you repair by brazing - then you can do a laminated write-up rally sheet saying "never been welded" Fibreglass will do the same thing!! Keith. I have some fibreglass front wings and will happily trade your wings for mine and then you won't need to spend weeks d...

Not the tourer! Nooooooooooooooooooooooo! The saloon! I've been using the '52 saloon again since the Merc is playing up. Dashboard electrics not working. Much more reliable but about 300 bhp down on the Merc.<br> http://mmoc.org.uk/mbimage.php?src=1252568361_4752 <br> PS Thanks to Russell for this ...
