The car was imported in 1950,so that's why it's RHD. So i will keep it like that:)

Hi Kim, The bonnet stay is the locking mechanism on the bulkhead to the right of the battery tray (looking from the front) that holds the bonnet in the open position. The earlier versions were similar but instead of a spring had a chain to hold the stay in the open position. Only a small detail but...

Congratulations! It looks like it may never have been welded, and that's quite rare. Does it move, or are the brakes solid? Finaly!!!

After 10 years of trying to buy this car,i finaly bought it today!! :D I'm so happy! The var has been offroad since 1970. And havent been started since 1983.
