I have only ever buggered one coil and that’s when I left the ignition on and didn’t realise for 2 days and unfortunately the points must have been closed
On the bright side it did prove I had a good battery ..

Carried out a little paint repair today. Used a can from Charles Ware which was supposed to be Snowberry White and it’s the wrong colour ! It’s cream colour probably Old English White Im sure the car is ok as I’ve had some touch up from ESM and it’s bang on The moral of the story is always do a test...

I need to remove the sender to my Temp gauge and having unscrewed the locking nut/ bush I expected the sender to slide out but no luck
When I gave it a twist the brass sleeve moved out but the business end stayed in
Have I buggered it and how should it come out ?
