Re: Morris minor caravanette

I know that stretch of road very well, There used to be an early Clan Crusader in red on one of the drives looking unloved, It belonged to a lady who was a teacher..I wonder what became of it, The caravanette does ring a bell now and so does a man that used to have an A TEAM style van on that stretc...

Re: TOX 79H The Snail Returns :-)

Just watched George Clarke's amazing spaces and spotted the snail on there, Great to see you have saved it and given it a new lease of life.

Re: What would your dream garage look like?!

I spent all my spare time last year adding an extension on my garage, It was done with concrete block laid flat as the rest of the building is solid brick then we added some insulation and timber cladding, it looks better now and is a good workspace. This is how we started 20170106_160016.jpg and en...

Re: Morris minor caravanette

Hi Ian, I also recorded it from +1 after a phone call tip-off. I have known 'The Snail' for many years, TOX 95H was originally built by a well known eccentric in Wolverhampton in the early 80's, debuted at the National Rally at Weston Park maybe 1986. I know at least 3 eccentric people in Wolverham...

Re: Car painting with spray cans

I have seen a mini painted with an Earlex HVLP spray gun kit which looked quite good considering the kit only cost around £50, I have 2 Sealey HVLP gravity spray guns that work very well and use low CFM, The spray cans are OK but never seem to give a good depth of paint.

Re: Spotted today.

A couple of spots from yesterday's monthly meet at the Old Waggon & Horses near Kidderminster. The green 2-door is a local car with 43,000 on the clock. It's for sale at £5,500 but no phone number on the advert! Couldn't find the owner either.20181029_180645.jpg20181029_180718.jpg The black tra...

I have been veggie for quite a long time and the best i have found for flavour and texture is Linda McCartneys Mozzarella burgers and if you can find a Home Bargains place they are £1 for 2 burgers.

Re: Spotted today.

Monthly classic car meet at the Old Waggon & Horses near Kidderminster. No Moggies except for Max but this 1963 Austin J2 7-seat mini-bus caught my attention. It was on it's first outing since 1998. Must be a challenge to drive as the floor gearchange has 1st and 3rd closer to the driver than 2...

I was told certain phones could have new software fitted to turn them into tracking devices that also took pictures and listened in, never found the info though.

Re: Modern cars

The newest car i drive is a 1996 imported Toyota Granvia, It is a people carrier based on the Toyota Hi-ace van, I wanted something that held 5 people and a wheel chair and you still had plenty room in, It has electric blinds 7 seats and 8 cup holders and a table, I paid £2,700 for it about 10 years...

Re: New member and "Anybody know this car"

If i was going to buy a traveller i would take someone along who knows them well, There are plenty around that look nice but when you get close up have poor woodwork, I would look at buying a car from a long term careful owner rather than a garage but that is just me, The last one i looked at for my...
