Re: Minor History ( South West Electricity Board)
I know SEB (Southern Electricity Board) had Travellers, certainly make sense with the Berks registration.
South West Electricity Board with Bristol marks, South Wales Electricity mainly Swanea(I think?), Southern Electricity mixed with Reading/Pompey/Bournemouth & Middx....

Re: Chassis number location 1966 convertible
The Car/Body number was moved from the engine bulkhead to the driver's (RH) floor pan when the Elephant Trunk heater was put through the bulkhead in 1963 ish. So of course many later cars have lost the stamped number when the floor has been replaced. As regards the other numbers on the top thin lon...

Re: Chassis number location 1966 convertible
The Car/Body number was moved from the engine bulkhead to the driver's (RH) floor pan when the Elephant Trunk heater was put through the bulkhead in 1963 ish. The change took place later than that. I have a 1965 car with the later dashboard/black speedo and flick switches which has the chassis numb...

Re: Change in wiper motor bkt.
Change should be listed in parts books, anyone have an AKD showing the engine number when the oil to paper air filter altered....have a load of 1958-1959 chassis/engine nos combinations on our database, shouldn't be THAT difficult to translate engine to chassis nos

Hi Les In all fairness, LCV Register let down by lack of activity & answers to questions. Can spend £'s on publicity/advertising & a professional looking forum, but IF it doesn't supply quickish answers nor supplies accurate info....it's a waste of time & enthusiasts will go elsewhere, t...
