Trying to save another one

Found this shell going to the scrap yard! Its now lying in a field waiting to be cleared and me strugglin to find storage for it!! :/

US spec MGAs used clear front indicator/sidelight lenses , had a pair fitted to my van! might still have an original Lucas one somewhere

What were the differences apart from the obvious missing side lamp and wider opening for the front panel on early series 2 cars? as the bodyshop wants me to get late 1000 wings to put on my sries 2 van and he'll modify the front bit! my original series 2 wings have already been rust repaired once so...

thanks for that I found the driller type from Wurth @ €17 but don't think that on a drill these would work as good :S still can't find angle grinder type :S

Thanks for the help guys,

these discs are great if only I could find to buy! I used one for a straight grinder which didn't last long on an angle grinder! but it did a hell of a good job! :)

Yes Iain has fantastic work i bought the gutterings for my 53 van which used square profile gutterings!!

But i want to k ow if im going to order the correct part :)

paint stripping at home

Hi all what is the best way to paint strip a car at home? I used paint stripper then wirebrush drill, but was told this will scratch the metal! but someone else told me it's good it scratches the metal as the etch primer will adhere to it and the following coats of base primer will cover the scratch...

the plate puts it in 1949 yes but as POMMREG says the stamped chassis will show it's true date :)
