I was wondering if anyone could tell me what colour my engine should be? My car is an MM 1952… (Reg: RAS 917 originally VNO 69 – I think)? Hi, I have already tried Bryan. He is on the case and is looking into what he has available. However, I thought I would throw it out there to see if there is anyone else who may have the parts I am looking for. If they are near or in the south wales area that would be fantastic.

Hi Tony, My sidevalve doesnt have a water pump either, I also dont have a temp gauge. It is a bit of a worry on really hot days but saying that the bottom hose always seems to be quite cool. Only on really hot days do I think about it really. Maybe you could get a temp gauge fitted if your worried? ...

Hi,
My header tank gets really hot as well. I dont think you should be concerned.
However, you might consider changing the radiator cap though if you can hear air escaping.

Please can someone help me find a pair of front brake hubs/drums for my 1952 sidevalve. I think in Jan 1952 they introduction UNF threads but I am not sure??
