Those pillar bottom sections can be used on the opposite side as the rear part of the pillar. Makes fabricating the front (you can use the correct side as a starting point for that) easier.

Seriously I would not consider this to be a sensible restoration proposition. At the very least I would obtain a better shell to start with. It would not make any economic sense whatsoever to try and fix that one when there are so many better ones being scrapped!

I highly recommend the flashing bulbs for trafficators. I have them in mine and it makes them much more visible for other road users.

Ok fair point. But why the need to weld them? All the gaps can be achieved just the same with bolts.

Went to see the car yesterday. Most of chassis work completed. Rear spring hangers and c posts welded. Next couple of weeks should see the wings on.
