can anyone help me with the length of the bolts that hold the gearbox onto the engine back plate?
I think they are 5/16"

i have just tried to fit a 1275 dampered pulley to my rebuilt 1275 midget engine and
it seem that the pulley fouls to timing cover ?
any one else had this problem is there a fix or mod to solve this ??

does anyone have a axle drain plug tap i can borrow to clean out the threads on an axle I'm building up?
i believe its a 1/2" BSPT ?
i would of course pay for the postage if not local (N-East Scotland)

not sur if the 1275 thermostat housing is taller??

hi all just fitted a new thermostat housing to by ongoing engine build and the stud seem a bit short ie the nuts with washer go on ok but i would like to see a bit more thread out of the top of the nuts what size /length are the standard ones and are longer ones available ?
