Re: Wavering Temperature Needle
Perhaps you have an 80 deg C thermostat fitted, which should normally keep it at around the 80 deg C mark, but at higher speed, combined with chilly winter air, it can't quite make up it's mind on the temperature... I hadn't thought of this but it does seem likely - I was worried that it might be a...

Wavering Temperature Needle
I was driving to Leeds last night when I noticed my temperature gauge needle to be wavering slowly between 80 and 85C. I suspected a faulty TIM Gauge but I soon noticed this only happened at high revs - at idle, it settles down.
Thoughts? Seems strange to me!

Twin Carb Advantage?
Can anyone explain the advantage of running twin carbs, and if that's worth much on a standard 1098?

Re: New Interim Webmaster
Welcome back. I'm pleased somebody is taking care of this; our web 1.0 experience can hardly be described as optimal. This along with rude moderators and the most uninspiring colour of grey I have ever seen makes for a bland, dismal experience. It's no wonder there's so much grumbling on here... Jus...

Rear hub removal ease?
Hello all,
I think I've got a leaking oil seal on one of my rear wheels. Will I need to buy one of those claw-like hub pullers to remove the hub, or will it just slide off?
Liam.

New Fan Blade: Quality Question
Hi, just a quick one. I'm in the market for a new fan blade - mine snapped while on holiday (severing only a lighting cable, luckily...) Are the £10 new ones from ESM/BM decent quality, or would I be better off getting a second hand one from somewhere? I don't want to fit a cheap one which will cons...
