If you do disassemble the callipers, I would suggest applying a little 'red rubber grease' to the piston rubber seal on the re-build.

Just out of interest. This axle on ebay is likely to have a Diff of 4.1/1 ratio. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131092322785? ... 1423.l2649 . It's the same axle as used on the Dolomite (part of the same family).

Do you know what the Diff ratio is at the moment? The Marina/Dolomite (but not sprint) axles came with a choice of 4.1, 3.9 and 3.6 to 1. And the ital 2.0 auto had a 3.3/1 ratio. The later series 11 splitty with the 803cc Austin engine still retained the original 'Morris' axle (and brakes). So you'd need the prop-shaft to go with your 1098 engine and box combo. Well, assuming that the differential flange wasn't altered with the change over to the new model.

If you don't have the huge trunking on the bulk head (pre 1962ish), a servo can be mounted there. Although, you would need to move the bonnet pull a couple of inches over to make space.

Do you have the whole Dolly 1300 or just the engine and ancillaries? The one thing I noticed about a 25d that I got from a Dolly was that it didn't have an oil seal ring on the distributor shaft.
I have since fitted it to my Morris and I wouldn't say that it leaks much oil, if any.
