Re: Breakdown cover suggestions

As a younger man I covered over 60000 miles in my Minor with no breakdown cover. Plenty of tools and routine spares in the boot though. The only major breakdown I ever had was less than a mile from home. As I'm much older and much less fit, I'd definitely get cover now,

A lot of 1st gear in a Minor. When I had a GT-Four it was mainly 3rd and fourth, only 2nd at the steep bend

Re: Welsh TT

Our local well-known steep hill Sutton Bank was recently closed for maintenance for a week. Re: Safety Equipment for Morris

Due to the demise of my ginger bush I have now settled for the Mother-in-law's tongue. It's best kept indoors though.

Re: Nutrition information.

Since heart surgery I watch the ingredients. Quorn is good and versatile and has the added bonus of much increased flatulence. Makes one sound more like a Morris Minor on occasion.

Hoses off, core plugs out and blast the block waterways out. I once blew out a coreplug due to blockages. Once I'd blasted out all the silt, rust and gubbins the block it ran cooler for years. The sudden eruption is likely somewhat of a steamhammer effect

The lovely blue Minor hotrod is the Slaters' Cosworth 4x4. A lovely thing indeed.

This is what had, mounting position is ideal and quarter light does not create an issue.

Re: morris commercial mra 1 truck

I also worked for the REME in the late 80s and remember the old 6x6 Scammells - wonderful beasts. We also had a 1951 Commer Tels Truck with just 3600 miles on it. It had done more miles on ships than its wheels
