Joking aside.... My wife's Minor had sat for 2 years without been started and although the pump ran (after a hard tap) it didn't run sufficiently enough to maintain the fuel level in the bowl. It would run for a mile or so then die and I had to get out, smack the pump and drive off again. Recon pump...

Everyone will probably have there own opinions on this but I just changed my M/C and left everything else as it was. I work on the old adage that "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" There isn't anything else you can change thats made easier by having the M/C out so just go for the cheapest o...

Slack Choke Control

I have to use the reliable old clothes peg method of retaining the choke control in the "on" position for the short time its required on cold mornings. Does anyone know a bodge, er, I mean fix, for this without changing the cable. Not sure if I can still get the correct cable/knob arrangem...

Are we just talking modified engines here or does the sealed cap apply to standard 948/1098 engines also?

Not sure what bit you mean - I have a couple of spare quarter lights lying around. Post a pic of the part and I'll let you know if I have it... Rich

What do these numbers mean?

I've got a thin strip of steel rivetted to the top right of the bulkhead, just beneath the rubber strip which reads "Z33824 424828"
Does anyone know what these numbers relate to?

Would be nice to find a stylish set of steels that would look a bit different - but I guess I'm looking for the imposs...
