The only problem with buying new bushes is the dizzie shaft could be worn,so the bushes may be a sloppy fit.Maybe better to make them and ensure a good fit.Just my opinion. All the best,John.

Hiya Lee,thanks for taking the time to reply.I do see the logic in your policy of not naming bad/indifferent dealers but it just seems to me to be an unfair balance. If I can come up with any ideas on this subject I will let all know. Please do not take this as a criticism, just an observation.Keep up ...

Mmmmmmmmm,Once again the subject of good and bad dealers is with us.I strongly feel that we should praise the good but also be allowed to criticise the not so good.I do realise the laws of libel and all that but if a dealer gives a rough deal and is proven to have done so, I feel we should all know ...

As an aside to my previous post, back in my distant past (dim),I experimented with water injection straight into the inlet manifold, with good results. So I think improvement can be made.As for the turbulence bit,myBSA gold star has a fairly large step in the inlet tract,to create just that, and removin...

I agree with Chris,to an extent. All cars are manufactured to a price and therefore can be improved.I run old motorcycles and these can certainly be modified to improve performance/economy.I think all these gadgets may show some small improvement but probably not worth the money and effort.Happy tink...

Hiya all, just an update on the fuel pump/tank problems I was having a few months ago.Filled the tank with fresh petrol and left for a week or two, flushed out and refilled.Lo and behold!the pump primed up with little effort.Maggie is now up and running but with a misfire.I suspect a sticky valve on n...
