Sorry to hear that, they must have had a trailer, usually with a fuel shut off it will only go about 500 yards.

I have also read recently the the "green" electric cars just stop when they go wrong and can dump you in the fast lane, never mind the smart inside lane. Maybe they should have ejector seats fitted biased to propel you onto the grass?!! Get the hydrogen conversions going then we can all be...

You can get a 24psi oil pressure switch from minispares they give a better indication at idle of what is happening but an oil gauge is the best.

I have used nothing but Duckhams 20-50 since 1962 and have had no trouble using it in my 1935, 1951 and 1963 morris cars. I used to have a Lotus super 7 in the 60s and couldn't get Duckhams once so put Castrol 20-50 in and there was a 5lbs lower oil pressure when hot. I have used Castrol since it wa...

I remember seeing Albion at Gan Island in 1971 some of their engineers came aboard us and saw our scalectrix and were amazed at the setup.

We also had a large set when I was with BP Tankers, It ran right down the engineers alleway port to stbd on the cross alleway back down the next cross alleyway and back to the start, we used to do a 24 hour Le mans now and again usually fron the gulf down to Aussi. Great times!!

I have just fitted new old stock glass(1952) and a new rubber, it was too slack in the frame, luckily I had an older new rubber I had bought in 1984 and it went in OK. the new glass was the same thickness as original.The original triplex date was Dec 1950, I didn't know how bad the old glass was unt...

Just recently fitted LED festoon substitutes with small pcb attached to the trafficators on my MM. Brilliant. I also got some 6v ones for the Morris 8.

I assume you don't fit the gasket as well as the "O" ring or the hub loading would be incorrect.

Thanks folks, checked with Footman and they said if I died the named person on the policy could ring in and insurance would be changed over so she wouldn't be without transport.
