My first car was an Ford Anglia, the same as the Prefect sit up and beg, the water got into the electrics which ran under the windscreen and burnt the loom out! Had to walk 5 miles home, not in the AA then.

Thanks again, someone had removed the valve, but left the springs, but I did find it difficult to get much oil in, I removed the drain nut again to see if it was running through but nothing came out!

Thanks Phil, the only thing I got out was a spring, so presumably the valve has already been removed.

Hi, I'm doing what philthehill sugested on my front suspension units, I took the drain bolt out but couldn't get any oil out. So I took out the 6 screws and removed the top, there is a cork gasket that covers the whole top! That can't be right? Otherwise you wouldn't be able to top up. Also is there...

Hi all, My traveler has the original type front dampers, also a pair of gas shocks fitted on the wishbone arm, is this ok, or will they be fighting each other?

On the ESM web site I can find the poly bush kit, eye bolts sus 100a ! But I'm not sure which are the pins, sorry could you please tell me exactly what they are called or the part number! Cheers. It defo sounds to me like rubber squeaking, more on the near side. Is it easy enough to change the rubbers?

Thanks Chipper, I have set the engine at tdc, and I know approx where the rotor arm is pointing for No1 cylinder on the old dizzy, but the trouble is with this new dizzy I can't tell which position it sparks at, I don't think l can assume its in line with the pickup or opposite, or indeed anywhere e...

Hi, I've just bought an Accuspark electronic distributor, Can someone please tell me the positions of the pickup to rotor arm when it's sparking, I'm not sure the drive dog is in the right position ( don't ask) well I know it's not.

Just had a look, what's it like to set up? Did you use your standard coil?
