Hi. I'm going to change my front brake shoes as I've a bad shudder when braking. The drums are fairly new. Any suggestions to what make for best braking

Hi. Today is the first time I've got back to the problem. I've taken the pump off. When connected to a battery the points click frantically. When I connect it to the fuel system it slows down dramatically but pumps fuel. I don't know how much fuel it should be pumping. Any suggestions ??

Will do panky. There's no inline filter. Is there internal points that may need cleaned or adjusted ??

I would think there is an obvious problem as when I bought the car the engine was very silent on tickover so must be something needing attention

Heavy tappet tick
Hi. Minor 1098. Sitting ticking over there's a heavy ticking noise like noisy tappets then it goes silent to a nice tick over. Any ideas !!

I gave it the burn up in 4th gear Roy. Certainly made a difference . Does this point to rear crank oil seal. There's no evidence of a leak

there's no oil dripping , pedal feels as it always has , what will I be looking for in the engine mounts assuming there no just collapsed , which there not ??

Starting with clutch depressed
Hi , cars running great but for the first time today I started the engine with the clutch pressed down. It sounded like the battery was flat turning really slowly. Lifting my foot of the clutch it started no problem. What's the diagnosis then ,, crankshaft end float to much ???

thanks Roy , ive not explained it properly . I know its charging but think its over charging . The lights go really bright in the dark when I rev it . But the battery is going warm and im thinking its overcharging , its that I need to check
