Thanks Stephen, I think I will whip the carb off and replace that O ring, might as well get the viton tipped valve for the float bowl while I am there :tu1:

Weeping carb

Any advice as to what is causing this weeping at the junction of the main jet and the feed from the float bowl? The flexible pipe looks dry at the float bowl end. Carb is an HS4. Thanks.

If the ESM springs are not fit for purpose I would return for a refund.

If the Tolley's runs out too easily, try PVA adhesive, does the same job but is a bit thicker.

I have had evidence of a small fuel leak with stains under my fuel pump but couldn't see the source. Had a better look today and with ignition/pump on I watched the area and saw the leak from the fuel pipe connection to the pump, link to slightly out of focus video attached. To be fair these were NOS visors still in their sealed bags from Newton Commercial that came with a complete reupholstery kit. They were not used because my car was never fitted or drilled for visors.

I have offered a full refund to the purchaser.
