Haha!, Never watched that but I get what you're talking about, Clegg sounds a bit like Frank Spencer from Some Mothers Do 'Ave Em, one of my favourite programmes, Frank drives a Smoke Grey 2-Door if I remember rightly, not quite sure what year ?, I'll have a hunt around on the net.

Re: Limeflower

[quote=Blaketon post_id=641020 time=1564067065 user_id=2171] Colour is a matter of opinion. If you like it, that's fine. It was once the case that colours like maroon were prone to fade but I'm not sure that's the case with paints these days. I once had a Mini 1000 in slime green (Turned out it was ...

Limeflower

Hi all, Been having an argument with my family recently about Limeflower, they say it's a horrific colour and that I shouldn't spray my new Traveller that colour, I on the other hand say it's a great colour, and it wasn't seen to be ugly in it's heyday because that was the trend, so just out of curi...

Re: Interior colour change

For what it's worth, as soon as I started reading your original question, my first thought was to suggest biscuit; and then read that it was already on your list :) As others have said, it's your car and your choice. Finance is certainly a private matter, but I know of a restorer who produced what ...

Re: Interior colour change

Hi all, Thanks for the advice, it turns out that the examples I had seen had the interior changed FROM biscuit to mint green, and the mint green I'm referring to should actually go with Porcelain Green, my apologies for this slip-up, should have read the description more carefully , however, a...

British Racing Green ?

Hi all, In my recent post "interior colour change?", ManyMinors told me that British Racing Green wasn't a colour that BMC/BL offered for the Minor, but I've seen a colour on Charles Ware's website called "British Racing Green", can anyone shed some light on this?, any advice wou...

Re: Interior colour change

Great points by manyminors, I sold one of my old minors some years ago to a student and the car was spot on. After 2 weeks I received a letter with a long list of faults which were more characteristics of these cars or..poor brakes. When I replied to the list there was nothing out of the ordinary s...

Re: Interior colour change

If money was no object to me, I’d buy an Aston Martin and kick the Minor into touch!!———well maybe tuck it up somewhere! :D Get what you mean Les :D, when I say money is no object the maximum I'd spend on this car is £50,000 at a push, I'd like to keep most of the financial stuff private actually, ...

I know, went to a rally and the interiors were AWFUL, and obviously the 3-wheels problem, apparently they are quite stable but I didn't want to take any chances! :D
