i think they are made in a far off eastern country and therefore i would avoid given its a critical brake part and i am sure other members have had issues with them

far east cheap production is the problem ,its the same for a lot of parts not just car related , yesterday my chinese ''supposed to be the best on market '' plasma cutter blew up in style with sparks and flames shooting out of the casing :evil:

update just found earlier part number 2a 3065 in a 1955 parts book so looks like a factory modification and i think the pin must be modified

803cc gear lever

has anyone ever changed the slotted cup at the bottom of the lever part no 2a3308 , i have a new bmc part which is a steel machined item but my original is pressed steel and i can't find a way to get the pin through , i am wondering if it's a modification from factory and the lever / pin is differen...

i think the esm one is a different design my 55 s 11 car had 3 seperate mounts onto the triangular plate i just screwed the new plate to the motor and it all fitted fine

i feel that's a slightly negative view of the s 11 cars ,i know my one has got a 1098 engine and diff + 8'' brakes [ i have the original parts if i want it original ] and makes it perfectly useable , i am not sure about the '' inferior ''visibility problem or the heater issues , i feel they are more...

i have just purchased an A series 950cc diesel engine for a rebuild , i thought it would be an interesting project and given my love of stationary engines something a bit unusual and its a bmc product so is in the family to speak ,

i have replacement pins in good original trunnions and have the same problem it's not enough to warrant a suspension strip but at some point i will have to face a bit of the pins to cure the play , i guess another case of a copy part copied wrong

a definite no to ep90 gear oil it must have engine oil sae 30 or 20/50 , i find it hard to believe a garage should not be able to find out what oil it should have , this needs draining and flushing asap

the offset of the rods looks wrong . in your first two pictures are the engine blocks the same way round as the sump bolt holes are in different place in relation to the rod centers , in picture 2 before it was stripped the timing chain would be to your left the fuel pump blank is on top and the cam...
