Near Gisors dans l'Eure et vous? I would be delighted to meet other Minor owners in France.

Re: ANOTHER NEW MEMBER

For a picture look under the heading "Pictures of you and your car....rather than just the car". You get to see the owner as well! SGTBILKO

ANOTHER NEW MEMBER

Having followed this forum for some weeks now and thought it only polite to introduce myself. I am 58 of british nationality and have been living in France since 1988 but am planning a comeback to the UK in the near future. My Minor is a Trafalger Blue 4 door model from 1970. By the way Trafalger is...

Re: Reasonable driving?

Good advice about servicing regularly. Just a few observations about other road users reaction to such a car, I have found that on the whole my 1098 Minor has had positive reaction especially in England. However on two occasions whilst driving in France there has been some cause for consternation. O...

Re: Rusty cars

Interesting about rusty convertibles. When I was looking for a Mog I was considering purchasing from what I think may be the same dealer. In the end I went to another well known dealer near Bath. I paid what I considered to be over the odds for a saloon ( I was after a rag-top or traveller's car) bu...

Re: I'm heartbroken :(

I dont know if its just me being soft but I have been looking on eBay a lot recently (trying to find another moggy that runs while we fix the one we already have) and there seem to be so many, not only moggie but minis and MGs and even morris bullnoses that have been so neglected that they just loo...

Re: Minor saloon needed for photo shoot

Before someone says it. I forgot to say that the wheels on my car are a non-standard colour
, they should be dark silver for that year. One for the anoraks![frame]Image[/frame]

Re: Wing Mirrors.

Don't do it then. You won't see enough in it to ensure safety, it might even lull you into a false sense of security. I made this mistake with a much more modern car that had factory fitted mirrors on the doors. A 3 ton lorry would easily fit into the blind spot that thing had! Didn't cause an acci...

Re: Minor saloon needed for photo shoot

Hi. Would mine do? Its bog standard, the only non-standard items are locking petrol cap and door mirrors! Regards, William.[frame]Image[/frame]

Re: Wing Mirrors.

Thanks to everyone who sents suggestions, you have been very helpful. I can't see much with the left hand door mirror which is important on continental roads. I am still undecided, I hate the idea of driiling holes in the wings![frame]Image[/frame]

Wing Mirrors.

Hello. Does anyone know if there is an ideal position for wing mirrors on a Morris Minor. On the wings obviously, but how far back from the headlamp bezel for example. What is the best make of wing mirror available today? I have been looking at the Tex site. I find door mirrors inadequate the ones I...
