Hello there!

Andy - try putting the choke in earlier. Works for me!!

Also, have a look at the idle setting and mixture control. This might have a bearing.

Hello there!

I'm thinking the central catch.

My saloon has neither of those - just a wood screw in the centre hole!!

When I get round to it (and I get the sewing machine mended!) I'm going to try stitching up a new catch.

Hello there! That, Willie, is why I'm intending to fabricate a new strap. I think that would be easier than looking out some wing-bolts, anyway. That said, the wood screw will come out - I normally keep a screwdriver in the car, anyway... That said, the biggest item I have ever had in the car was a ...

Hello there!

Surely he means the same type of regulator box...?

Hello, there! With regard to Horace's post; be careful about adding a switch to the ignition system. Hello there! Well, my mild steel exhaust has fallen off for the last time - it's broken around the top of the flange and cannot be refitted. As such, poor old Phyllis made quite a spectacle of herself as she grumbled, farted and popped her way through the Shropshire countryside tonight. I'm not sure...

I absolutely agree. The parp on overrun is fantastic! In any case, I had "words" with the chappie, and he agreed that it shouldn't have fractured so soon. My engine mountings are fine, and I've got one of Grumpy's top steadies on the old girl, just to make sure! Anyway, he's getting me a n...
