There may be one available in Thornhill. I have asked my folks to look into it for you.
Fingers crossed.

Re: parcel shelf material

If you want something damproof then try PVCu as used for fascias etc. I have done this and popped in a couple of speakers. The shelf now sits at the same height as the top of the rear seat.

Re: possably planning on buying a traveller today

I did 160 mile round trip to encounter the same problem. Hang in there. One will come along eventually. It did for me. In fact it was such a good buy that I could afford to get the whole floor replaced.

Re: Panda car document and plates on ebay

Can anyone show me the Regulation that says ' It's illegal to sell the V5 without the car
You are not permitted to sell it for the simple reason that you don't own it.

If the car is standard and unmodified (I suspect it isn't 8) ) you may find the classic insurers will cover it.

Re: Sound deadening

Not sure about the tape but using rubber backed felt underlay (Something like this) certainly helps
That's what I used. One layer on floor, under and behind back seat and two layers on the bulkhead. I think that came to 6 metres.

Re: cleaning the water jacket

Any chemical treatment would depend on the nature of the gunk you want to shift. Limescale, rust, sludge etc. Bear in mind that some products suitable for iron will not be tollerated by auxilliary parts such as thermostat cover, heater valve and rubber tubing if still fitted. I used household descal...

Re: Is this legal

IT IS NOT LEGAL !

The V5 is owned by the DVLA and shows the details and legitimacy of the vehicle and the identity of the keeper of said vehicle. The holder of a V5 is just that; a holder, not an owner and they have no right to sell it or pass it on without the vehicle concerned.

Re: missaligned

two of the three must line up, which one is out Ah-ha! good point! I noticed this when the panels were off the car, then hung them in-situ for the photo. It's the rad support panel that is too long so I have drilled through that to the (vertically, if not horizontally  ) aligned front panel h...

missaligned

Has anyone come across this little problem before on a front panel?
Image

Behind this is a very small lip so drilling and trimming the radiator panel isn't really a straightforward fix.

Have faith.
My experience suggests that if you are pessimistic your Minor will sense it and react negatively.

These people are, as far as I am aware, the only ones who make a LCB specifically for the standard capacity engine.

Tappets

How do I remove the tappets on a 1275 A+ engine. It has no tappet covers to unbolt. Perhaps i lift them out with a magnet but does the cylinder head need to come off as well?

Re: 12A 1456 Cylinder head on 1098cc?

What sort of inlet manifold do you have? I'm not sure if the 202 and 295 are compatible with the 1456. Hopefully someone else will know Yes they are. However using the standard manifold on a 295 head would not be getting the best out of it. A budget purchase option would be the Mini 1000 manifold w...

Re: Saloon carpets

If you have a 4 door car you will find that the little triangular-ish sections below the front corners of the rear seat base are not supplied. It's possible you could be crafty and cut some bits from the edges of a piece where it hides below another - the rear transmition tunnel section perhaps. Wor...

Re: Seat Belt.. Its Urgent

Hold the unit level and, moving your hand a couple of inches each way, carefully shake it back and forth a few times. You should be able to hear and feel the ratchet bearing rattling around. If you tip it as you shake it it will just lock up again.

There would have been a time (a couple of centuries ago) when that little deposit would have been worth it's weight in gold. Literally!
Guano was a very valuable commodity that founded the wealth of Peru and fueled the agricultural revolution.
