I would expect to be pro...

Re: Traveller rear doors security ?…
Hello, I’ve only just realised that if you remove the two wood screws, fixing on the Traveller rear doors locking handle, the whole thing can be rotated to simply open the doors. Not quite correct really  When new/unworn the two tangs cast into the handle and the appropriate slots in the timb...
Re: Sills
Yes and the traveller also has additional strengthener channels in the sills not supplied by most parts specialists. Though ESM do one similar for the convertable/tourer.

May just add to the confusion but from what I remember .....correct length bearings being unavailable new some suppliers provide a narrower bearing and a thin spacer to make up the difference? :) Maybe it was this one on ESM .site.....'third motion bearing 3rd Motion Shaft Bearing (22A465) *** TOP Q...

What's the plan for this one Taupe ? A very brave restoration or just spares ? Looks like it's sat outside with water and leaves in it for some time. Thanks for your interest...It is really quite good once you get above floor level! :o :o :o I have in mind fitting a fibreglass rear end similar to b...

Re: Rear Springs Hitting Chassis Rail
My chassis rail is original and has the clearance curve in it. I replaced the springs, they were the original thin section leaf, with new (thick) Restoration went ahead over the next few years! and when we were finally mobile I found the spring rubbed the chassis. In hindsight I wish I had kept the...

Re: Rear Springs Hitting Chassis Rail
There should be a curve in the chassis rail there see pic... mm rear shackle.jpg Taupe I agree. This was pointed out several posts ago  . Yes the slight cut away..... but not the upward curve of the rail at the rear sadly completely overlooked by most restorers and in the poor available repai...

Re: Fuel pipe pump to carb ID?
Maybe its just me but.. I see the need to replace the old cracked rubber hose and it is a service item.....but surely the braiding is provided for abrasion and heat protection so should be retained as an essential safety item...? eg https://www.mcgillmotorsport.com/stainless-steel-braided-fuel-hose-...
