weather strip

Anyone has close up photos of the weather strip edges on the convertible hoods and want to share them please?

Some people argue this is an add-on to the original hood, is this true?

I use Wurth Rust converter, it is applied with a paint brush or sprayed and turns rust to black. It has been tried and tested on my cars for more than three years now and on my well bucket metal handle, all still rust free

I've encountered another problem with quatlites.

Since I restored my 2 door the quarter light became very loose and won't stay in the open position, the wind just close it back, any ideas how to increase friction in the pin?

Thanks lou, I acquired both maroon A & B paint samples according to the ICI references given, but they are nowhere near the colours of your car and the other car next to yours.

I shall try to get some more samples from another supplier, Congrats for the lovely colour of your car

Maroon A or B

Calling for all the owners of Maroon cars, both A and B to send in some pics. I'm really confused with the difference between these colours and would like to know which is which.

No luck with this colour! I bought two samples of maroon A (RD 08- ICI 2473) and Maroon B (RD 23- ICI 6573) and they look almost the same! both very dark maroon.

Anyone has an idea what is the reference for the colour in the pic then?
