The tool frost sell will fold the lip back and can also widen the wing. However we are not talking inches. It literally stretches the arch as if you grabbed it with your hand and pulled it out.

As far as an MOT is concerned an exaust system should be free of leaks and not make more noise than you would expect from a vehicle of its type. Mines had a side exit since and before i owned it with no probs. Made it a bit interesting when the carbs overfuelled and it spat a dirty great flame out t...

I use a ford box. The bellhousing is nothing more than a minor one grafted to an alloy plate. There is a little more mucking about to do but it works very well.

Wow a thread that starts with picks of my car! Wish it looked like that still! I still have the strip in the bonnet the picture seems to hide it well. The boot is fairly simple to do but takes a little patience. A quicker way may be a glass one? No the front plate location is not legal im in the pro...

Recon its always best to ask.
Had a machine shop fit mine for a tenner and i supplied the pistons. Tried to press the old ones out and the piston disstorted before the pin moved!

Its a funny thing insurance.
I have to list every mod to my car,and i tell the insurance company everything.
Yet i still get a classic policy fully comp for £115 a year. My standard mini was £200 fire and theft.

Always use a specialist!

Strikes me that a 1098 would be a sensible upgrade as opposed to a modification.
Take a bit of time to make it look like it should be there and i cant see any reason why it would spoil a nice car.

Ive ran twin HS2 carbs for several years on my 1275. As far as performance goes id say it has a little bit more sparkle than with a single but thats about it. I keep them on because i love the induction noise with the 4inch trumpets and no filters! As for setting them up i have to dissagree though. ...
