What colour's your parcel shelf?!

Hi, Im restoring a 1961 2-dr minor, the interior has been replaced at some point as it now has the late 60's vinyl, I'm planning on putting back the original red leather to regain it's 'deluxe' status. The front parcel shelf has been covered in red vinyl to match the seats but I was just wondering f...

I'm assuming that your car is 'smoke grey' in colour (it's called grey but it is actually blue) but if you want it to be exactly right i believe the police moggies were painted in 'Bermuda blue', I dont really know the difference, I think only very picky people will notice the slightly different sha...

I use this stuff appropriately named 'The good stuff' and its bright orange, feels like grit to start with but leaves your hands clean when washed off and leaves your hands smelling of oranges aswell!

I didn't find anything on a quick search but I expect that SatNav's also account for a high percentage of vehicle break ins - generally because they are on display on the dash! Everyone says the dashboard cover infront of the driver in the 948cc 1000 minors is completely useless but it's pretty use...

Are there actually going to be any 2-doors left in a few years time? they're all getting turned into convertibles!!
I have the urge to try and turn a convertible back into a saloon just to be awkward! :D

I have wing mounted mirrors on mine but the problem is that the 'clap-hands' wipers get in the way and you can't see the passenger side mirror at all, I don't know if this is a problem with the other wipers though

Having them on the doors might make more sense but then again not many things make sense on a minor!
I think they just look better and more original on the end of the wings

Did the owner of that green traveller nick the headlamp rims off a trabant?! or even a triumph herald?

Anyway, I like the idea of all going for a drive in convoy like that, why don't we try that at the national rallies in england!

I had exactly the same problem with my minor a few weeks ago, we traced the wire back from the light to the first joint and found one of the wires was corroded, we just bared a little more of the wire and reconnected it again, all worked fine after that

How much paint?

Hey, I'm looking to respray my '61 2-door saloon (it's my first project so I'm not very knowledgable on the subject), when looking to buy paint i'm not sure how much I will need, would 1ltr do to cover the whole car? or do I need to buy a 5ltr tin? Also, which type of paint would be best for me to u...
