The stud on the base is 2BA. The lens screws seems smaller - I think maybe 4BA - I'll try and get some that size and try them.

If anyone else knows the exact size please let me know.

Rear light lens screw size?

Hi,
Does anyone know the size/thread type of the screw that holds the rear lens on? It is on 1969 saloon.

Rear Lamp base -what size is the stud?

Does anyone know what size the stud is that holds the rear lamp base body to the wing?
The old ones are corroded and I can't see them on any of the suppliers websites. I was going to try and buy a length of studding - any suggestions welcome.

There isn't one available for a split screen as faras I am aware. I fitted a front and rear and they are great. You need an alternator and if you have both of them on together for too long I found they can drain the battery quite quickly. I now only uuse one at a time. They don't need to be on for v...

Rear Hub Nut

I need to change the rear hub oil seal and in the sticky spanner sizes it says "Rear Hub Nut 1,1/8W (although 1,7.8 AF is a very good fit & works)" I have just read the latest edition of Minor Monthly and it says that later cars had 1 3/4" AF nuts. I need to buy a socket and don't...

I fitted one of the kits from ESM. The channel is bolted to the boot floor and welded to the chassis at the ends. The bottom plate bolts on to the U bolts. Here is a pic if it is of any help.

I use this garage for my MOTs and they are very sympathetic to the Morris.
I feel obliged to give him the business as it is a 2/3 man affair it's the owner I deal with.
Kwik fit are charging £17 to mend a puncture!

Tyre sizes

I currently have Firestone 155 by 14 80s tyres and am looking to replace all 4 of them. I had a look on ESM and BM at they work out at just over £100 for cheaper ones and I would have fitting on top of that. I went to my local Costco and after the usual a Morris what? they gave me a price for a 155/...
