Building a 1275
I’ve just stripped down what I believe is a 1275 marina or ital engine (oil filter high up on block and no tappet chest cover just ribbed) having identified it as a good engine and that I will be building it myself, what are worthwhile modifications at a budget while it’s apart? It will need to be b...

Twin hs2 carb v single hif38
Hi everyone
In currently have a hif38 carb on my morris engine (1275 head 1098 block, Maniflow exhaust system), is there anymore gain to be made with twin hs2 carbs over the single hif38? Or even twin hif38?
Thanks
Andy

1275 mini engine covert for morris
Hi everyone
I’ve been offered a 1275 a series mini engine but curious how easy it is to swap crank to convert for inline what’s same and whats needed, is it a easy worth while thing todo or look out for another engine, I’d rebuild whatever engine I get anyway
Thanks

Morris leans to one side
Hi everyone
My 2 door leans to the left enough to be noticed when looking at, I’ve changed to new rear springs as they needed doing anyway, but suspect passenger side front is the issue, how to you adjust the height to bring it level
Also any common problems to suspension sag
Thanks
Andy

Re: Mgb axle
Using the moggy axle would be perfect, but I doubt it would handle the extra torque, if there is a stronger diff and hardened halfshafts that would cope with about 170bhp that would be great

Mgb axle
Hi everyone
I’m looking for a axle to suit a Ford zetec engine and type 9 gearbox but that’s fairly straight forward to fit onto the original rear springs and to retain the original look regards wheel spacing , I’ve heard mgb axle is a possible fit ?
Any ideas?
Thanks

Re: Mitsubishi Colt czt swap for morris
Would be a great engine for the minor, just mounting it would be difficult and finding a gearbox. I have thought about it haha, the seats were originally cloth until I had them retrimmed
