Years ago when polishing journals we use to use a strip of dead emery cloth i.e. Really worn out , turn it over and use the cloth face to polish

On my lcv and two door saloon I have used glazing mastic it comes in a roll about 3/4" wide 1/8" thick available from most glass merchants

Had mine on the 29th Feb at Newark showground really well organised wife wasn't due to have hers but she went with me and they jabbed her their and then no after effects if you haven't had it make sure you get booked in

Hi jagnut. I use glazing mastic which comes in a roll it's about 3/4," wide and 1/8 " thick good for bedding the gearbox cover as well available from any glass merchants

Hi I have used lechler etch primer and there filler primer on top the top coat is to be carried out by a pro in his spray booth using two pack paint. The car was in a similar state to yours when I started it . It's a 59 two door , I also have a van which I carried out a ground up restoration on over...

I have also used my Thule ball mounted rack for the last 6 years I find it very secure and after many thousands of continental miles it has never moved

You can now get a bike rack that fits onto a tow ball there very good and really secure I have used one on my motorhome for a few years with no problems. You obviously need a tow bar fitting and the racks aren't cheap

Speaking from experience be very careful when drilling the holes for the drain in the bottom of the door it's very easy to go straight through into the outer door skin especially towards the rear section of the door

Hi checked the stud it 25 tpi and .264 diameter. Metric also works as 1.0 thread and 6.82 diameter . I have now put my spare starter motor on so all is good . When I get a nut for the other that will be relegated to the spare

Starter motor

Hi. I have just swapped the starter motor for what I thought was a like for like starter motor the fresh one I have fitted does not except the nuts for the cable fixing I have tried every conceivable nut I have but non fit it looks like 24 tpi and just under 7 mm diameter any suggestions. Thanks

I was talking to a young lady in Spain who uses one of these e scooters to commute into Gibraltar with the amount of traffic going in she recons the scooter are brilliant it's the motorist she says you have to watch . They are allowed on the road in Spain
