hum, well it was a nice turn out last week but the white hart felt a bit posh given it seems more of a restaurant than a pub.

how about the new forest hotel at ashurst this week?

err I thought the gearbox steady cable is to stop unwated engein/gearbox movement and so reduce clutch judder clutch partial bite = engine moves a little thus clutch has less bite = engine relaxes back to position and the cycle repeats (especially in reverse). The cable damps much of that movement, ...

the EU still have the free at 25 year rule, so if they tried to change the taxation class in any way here there ought to be a strong lobby to fall in line with the rest europe. Hopefully this means at worst they won't mess about with the current pre 73 rule.

If we can finalise the Christmas booking ASAP that would be good. Antony ...

best anyone could do is make a guess. bore size does not really tell you much about BHP you need to know about the cam, timing, porting etc... in fact the only way to know is to get it on a rolling road at a guess 65-70'ish if its no more than a bore (standard 1275 is around 57-60bhp depending on bl...

cover zone are good but go for the better one they do, 100 quid sounds like a lot for a cover, but it money well spent in the long run. Agree that you MUST do up the straps, easiest way to do that is adjust it only on one side so that you got a long bit of slack on that one side, tie a few washer or...

no, any air locks result in a soft pedal no matter where they are as they add compressible volume to the whole system. if there is air there now you have a failure somewhere? if all the wheel cylinders are good with nothing in the drums to indicate a leak then the flexi hoses are likely cause, they ...

pumping the pedal has to be air in the system

assume one of the wheel cylinders may have given in, or check the flexi hoses at the front or the single one at the rear.

any air in a system that was good would suggest a leak.

the tab and centre pin are connected together if you have access to a meter measure the output (light green wire) and you should see 10v there. If that is ok then its a problem with the gauge or sender or you are actually overheating! earthing the sender wire should give you full scale hot reading, ...

I run one of each and to be honest in most cases the minor is actually a more practical car. The mini is great fun, but requires just as much TLC as the minor to keep going, you still have grease points and same engine to maintain but with less space to do it all in! There are also plenty of times w...
