Re: Refurbishing my gloveboxes

Prices of replacement glove boxes are so expensive for what they are and I was really happy with the refurb results of mine as well as the enjoyment of doing the job. :)

Re: How many A-series cars have you owned?

My Allegro story ...... I was offered my friends Allegro several years ago for £250 as my car had died on its mot. I took my wife to see the car and she told me that she would never drive it as she thought it was awful so I told a fib that we couldn't afford the car and thanks for the offer  A...

Re: Refurbishing my gloveboxes

Im really pleased with the finished result as the old ones looked tired and worn.
Its a cheap upgrade for the price of some acoustic carpet that I had and some spray glue. :)

Refurbishing my gloveboxes

Today I decided to refurbish my glove boxes by lining them with acoustic carpet as they are tired looking as well as dropping white powder lining on everything that is in them.

Re: No spark.

This is similar to my problem that I had on my Traveller, I have had 2 failures on Accuspark electronic ignition units and when it again failed last sunday I decided to revert back to contacts and condenser. My car has done approx 80 miles this week with no break down and I feel that the car runs be...

Re: Traveller rear suspension

The spring kit looks excellent value Phil and I would think everything there would hopefully rectify the problem. Im very tempted to get this kit. :)
Very interesting the figures and sizes quoted and the fact that the Traveller is different to other models.

Re: Traveller rear suspension

Ah thanks Phil, I will measure mine today. You are right about the weight of the wood and everything else in the back as it would be very heavy. I have only a 5 mile journey to work but with so many speed bumps on the way and I can be so slow over the bumps and still get the bottoming out feeling wh...

Traveller rear suspension

On my Morris Traveller I find when I go over speed bumps the rear apears to bottom out on the bump stops. My question is this normal or do I have weak leaf springs?

Re: A very slow build of a custom traveller

I replaced all of my Traveller wood recently Steve complete with alot of welding and new panel replacement. One of the best suggestions that I had was to purchase Ray Newells book, Morris Minor Traveller: The Complete Companion which is so informative and was a big help to me.
