I use autosol for a initial clean then one clean I just polish the chrome with the car polish as and when I was the car, car polish protects it and shines well! beedage!

The roll jig above assumes there is plenty of strength in the bumper irons.......and engine/box removed to reduce weight. Some folks just carefully roll the car onto old tyres/mattress that sort of thing - again - probably best if the weight is reduced as much as possible. Good luck with it! Is you...

Yes I too have removed the cover of the car this am and no water what so ever.. the cover is 100 percent secure with the under body straps.... Mudflap's are a superb investment and do protect the car if fitted well... I use stormforce covers for two cars all year round- one a 205 and one a mg metro. Also use a stormforce on my van when attending weekend rallys for overnight protection... I have found them superb and secure with underbody staps. I have noticed with my metro one this year it has lightened in colour...

Chris, yes gloss black, same as the metal door panels on the front doors... I no off two very original vans and thee are all black gloss, minus age scratched and chips.... Yes don't leave, im from Manchester also and want and need your support! You have always been helpfull and friendly to my posts etc. There is a lot of negative replys on this forum and we all no who they are I feel and its only a small number... you cant take to heart what they say and rise above it...

Yes all civilian van's didn't have them covered, only GPO and yes made of mild steel and painted gloss black and held on with pozi drive self tappers
