Re: 'Smart' motorways
There's another article in the paper today (apologies for the source, it's the only paper I saw that covered the story today) on this issue with a couple of statements from the AA which really get to the heart of how feelings are running high https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9597981/Now-AA-s...

Re: Tracker Systems
I'm still not convinced this tech is anything other than a gimmick now and has yet to reach sufficient maturity that owners can actually rely on it. I WANT to be convinced because it's a great theory to have your car phone you and tell you where it is if it gets nicked

Re: Newton Commercial Suffolk Reclining Seats
I put a pair of Suffolks in my Traveller when I built it back in 09, and I'm now considering replacing them with a new pair as they've simply worn out over the last seventy odd thousand miles. Seat comfort is a hugely subjective thing, but I wouldn't dream of NOT having a Suffolk. I have significant...

Re: This could turn a few heads.....
I'm afraid that that is laughably costly. I've seen these go for a couple of hundred quid. Any decent one has had the axle removed and replaced with indespension units which can be calibrated for the lack of weight

Re: Insurance
Always read the small print I found out I was not insured unless garaged at night :o I wasn't either, but I think that's where customers have to understand the questions and answer carefully. My Traveller is always garaged, and when the insurance question came up I answered Yes to 'G#Is the car gar...

Re: 'Smart' motorways
An excellent piece in todays CCW on this subject from old friend Nick Larkin, including fairly unequivocal views from a couple of classic clubs. I'm a little disappointed that the MMOC weren't among them as I feel that such a large club as ours would add considerable gravitas to the issue, but it is...

Re: Oklahoma British Car Breakfast Club.....
Hopefully this won't set off any 'Not Allowed' Warning Bells..... :-? Contrary to the widely held and oft repeated rumours, the MMOC aren't 'anti' any other car group of any type and have always been happy to encourage people to use whatever medium suits them. As an example, nobody threw a paddy ab...
