Re: What would your dream garage look like?!

My friends garage in Cape Cod. The stairs at the back lead to a viewing gallery. He belongs to The British car club in the USA. I' always very envious when i go to visit him. He has two other garages with post lifts and a series one Landrover.

Re: ..and I thought all Morris Minor drivers were nice chaps

Having just read the post by Win regarding reading the Daily Mail at the family planning clinic reminded me of many years ago when the then Mrs B persuaded me to have a vasectomy. After many doubts I finally summoned up the courage and made an appointment for the procedure. This was duly carried out...

I agree with Firedrake its a disciplinary offence to use the PNC for unauthorised use. You could become a cowboy wheel clamper the DVLA give out all personnel details to them.

If I could catch a stolen frog eyed sprite in my panda after going sideways round the Robin Hood roundabout on the A3 I could have caught this one.

Re: I just do not believe some people!

I posted the message about the Austins. It was a few years back now we were on a club holiday to Cirencester, we found a car park which was nearly full but managed to park two short chassis sevens in one bay inside the designated lines. Both cars had paid the required amount and were displaying tick...

Convertible MOT

I have been thinking of purchasing a convertible to go with my Panda. I'm not too bothered about it being a factory manufactured one or a converted saloon one, but if it's a converted one would I have to have it MOTd every year as it may be classified as structurally altered.

Re: Ginger bush

I did think about mother in laws tongue but I'm told it needs very acidic soil to thrive. I think I'm going to give up gardening as I don't seem to have much luck. Gardeners are supposed to have green fingers but after delving into the Ginger bush my fingers are certainly not Green.

Re: Ginger bush

I'm afraid that the Ginger bush has finally met it's end. It has turned completely Grey with no sign of life. There is no sign of the pussy that used to hide behind it. I suspect that the said pussy is now in my neighbours garden. He seems to have given it the name " cooking fat " which he...

As the DVLA representative for the Austin seven owners club I can concur with the previous messages, it may be better to keep things as they are, I know from previous experience you may be opening a can of worms.

Re: Ginger bush

Good news the Ginger bush obviously likes this warm weather and is coming along nicely. Even better news is that my Purple morning Glory has poked it's head up and is looking quite perky it must like it's close proximity to the Ginger bush. The only down side is that the pussy has seemed to have mad...

Re: Ginger bush

Whilst the present Mrs B was gently snoring in bed well not so gentle really, she looked very romantic with her mouth open and dribbling, her teeth in the glass by her side giving me a cheeky grin. I had a quick look downstairs and after pulling aside the black lacy material that had been covering t...

Re: Ginger bush

Thats nice to see that Dick is looking after the Ginger bush. I'm very tempted to have another look at mine to see if it has survived the cold weather but the last time I pulled back the Black lacy material covering the bush to have a look I was severely admonished by the present Mrs. B.
