Make sure car is on a flat surface. Buy a plastic measuring jug from supermarket, pour in 6.5 pints or 3.69 litres of oil through the filler cap in the rocker box. Refit filler cap. After ten minutes or so, check oil level on dip stick - should be on full mark. Job done - simples

Just stuck on the splines. A little WD40 and tap with a mallet from behind. Suggest you re-attach the nut a couple of turns before you tap it though so it doesn't fly off and smack you in the mouth!!
