I was breathalysed in I think 1969 I was on holiday in Lowestoft. I was driving my first car a 63 two door Morris minor , needless to say I was under the limit but was find £2 for going down a one way street the wrong way

Advice required fills and floors

Hi I have a two door minor which needs new cills and floors . My question is after bracing do I put the cills in first or the floors and do I use the floors with the step built in , also the ends of the centre cross member require replacing , . I am ok at welding and fabricating

Not complaining about the show it was as you said good and v large and I am also grateful for the tea and buiscuits at the mmoc stand and also the tr register were I am also a member. I did pre order my ticket but unfortunately there is no discount for Friday

Went to the NEC classic car show on Friday really good show ,but is it worth £33 ticket , £1-95 admin fee , £16-00 parking total £50-95 . Sorry after supporting this event over roughly the last 30years this will be my last one

Glove box door

Hi I have just fitted a plain glove box door to the passenger side of my van ( I realise lcv s are not fitted with these) .my question is should there be some kind of stay/ restricter fitted to stop the door opening more than 90 degrees

Hi not sure what car it's off will have a look tomorrow see if there are any markings on it, I have a couple of hif44 carbs but they both need reconditioning looks like another job to do

Hif38 carb problem

Hi I have fitted to my 1275 engine a hif38 carb with a large bore extractor manifold , it runs quite ok but the plugs are showing it running lean the mixture screw turning it clockwise doesn't seem to be altering it do you think the next size needle would help .thanks
