No bother with a pre war Austin Seven or my Panda. I remember some years ago going on an Austin Seven club holiday to the Cotswolds about 10 cars took place. We went to a council car park in Cirencester which only had a few spaces left but we managed to get two Austin Sevens in one bay inside the de...

Re: clean fingernails

Lets hope I have better luck with the custard this time as the last time I made it it was very lumpy but I retrieved the situation by straining it through one of my socks a clean one I might add I'm very mindful of hygiene.

Re: Seats advice please

I can confirm that all met police pandas had rubber diaphragms on the front seats for long and frequent use. Met pandas only had a roofbox police sign and police signs on both sides. There was no blue lights. sirens or bells and the roofbox could be switched on or off from a switch inside the car. T...

Re: Seats advice please

Hi guys Thanks for the replies. The drivers seat is now out and in the dining room (she doesn't know yet) ready to have the new foam inserted. Still not sure as to whether to replace the rubber diaphragm which appears to be in good condition with the new webbing straps. Have found the new holes in t...

Having just bought my first Morris Minor ( it's an ex metropolitan police panda which is the actual car that I drove ) I found that the nearside rear hub was leaking oil so armed with a new oil seal, paper gasket and O ring I started to rectify this. I slackened off the hand brake cables by undoing ...
