I also own a 4 door 1951 series mm like yours.Mine had been idle for almost 20 years and the floor boards have been replaced recently.Many things to be done....I suggest you take your time to restore it to its former glory like i am doing now.Cheers. :D

Sadly I would recommend replacing all the rubber bushes and gaiters on the suspension and steering as they may have age hardened. Fortunately after doing this they will not need doing for quite sometime. It is not a particularly difficult job just a tad time consuming and dirty. This won't be impor...

hi Mike,thanks for all the valuable info provided for restoring the fuel tank.car status:Brakes stuck,master pump jammed,will try to dismantle the petrol pump this weekend and service as per your advice above.What chemical we should use to clean the petrol tank?

The Series MM side valve engine was only ever produced in 918cc form and was rated as 8HP. The 800cc engine may be an 803cc A series engine which somebody has fitted later. ok,thanks...i found out on my previous ownership certificate stating the cc as a 918.i confirmed with the road transport depar...
