Hi all , I’m confused as to what boot catch I should have for my 1956 split screen , Is there more then one type and which is the one I need , I think there is one with a locator pin and one without ?.. and can anyone supply both the striker plate and catch? Nice work both with the Minor and those kittens, who would put them in a bin. I swear there's a part missing from the brain of these nasty people. And last but not least ,over the last few months these two were hand reared ,we found them in a bin down the road and they were around 4 days old , bottle fed every 2 hours and they are 14 weeks old now , the one at the front is called moggy !,

On the up side iv contacted a vehicle glass company to get new glass made up , I just have to send card templets , the down side to that is that they haven’t given me a price yet

Those links are an interesting read, I believe nyloc is the way to go then , but is using the original fixings a good or bad idea , iv spent a great deal of shillings,mainly on steering and suspension components so they are fresh , new and correct ? I may need nyloc nuts to hold my twin X rockets on...
