Re: Caravaning with a Traveller
Make sure your licence covers you to tow a caravan or trailer :o All full licences allow you to tow a trailer, as per: https://www.gov.uk/towing-rules#:~:text=You%20need%20a%20full%20car,t%20more%20than%203%2C500kg. Re: Who's had the Covid vaccine? Anyone going to refuse it?
Only fools would refuse the vaccine covid kills  I agree... but with some exceptions. There are people out there where there are genuine and legitimate concern that the medical risks associated with taking the vaccine are more significant that taking the vaccine... but this would have been ad...

All cars before 2011 is pure rubbish...
For example Ford confirm that my 1993 Transit is ok for it.
Its been in the US and AUS for many years, so while its new to us - its not new.

A lot of aftermarket ones are marked there - but not all.
Factory cam identification is by a series of rings/grooves along the shaft

Re: London in the 1920's and the 1930's in colour
I seem to recall that the biggest engine Ford Capri (3.0L V6) even had extra weights added in the Sills to improve handing; probably not anything they would consider these days. Whilst modern cars do tend to be designed to be as light as practical - they most definitely do still have weights added ...

I’ve been here for many years and don’t recall any comments that were life changing. Maybe I wasn’t paying attention. I wonder if other forums take this stance. I can well believe that closing the section down was considered. We are so prim and proper here. :D back in the annals of time... I was a ...

To gain the benefits of negative camber you do need to fit negative camber eye bolts which are currently not available off the shelf. GDF Garages/Minor Mania in Mill Hill had some on the shelf a few years ago though, and wern't advertising the fact... if its what you need it may well be worth a call

I do wonder if those once prolific posters are still members of the club? I used to be a paid up member - but decided it wasn't worthwhile a long time ago. I was putting in a lot of effort as a moderator on the forum and getting nothing out of the club (except the forum - which was more of a chore ...

Re: Timing Cover Seal - Which Way?
What might be worth checking on the cover is that the bolt holes haven't become distorted and "pulled through" - i.e. making a lip that bottoms out before the gasket makes good contact

The oil seal will have kind of a C section profile?
The seal fits so the inside of the C is where the oil is
