PO bits from VAW are shared on SLN 230F and FVB 838J, the c...

Re: Any ideas for tracing the history of my ex UK Minor LCV?

No such thing as a '67 'MAE5'...??? The first 'MAE's' were the 1968 SYM/SLO-F regd telephone engineers' Minors.....although the log book will have the old 'OJE' chassis prefix!!! Confusing to say the least...MAE5/225800 upwards Body will be in the 37*** series.. engine a '10MA-U-L 31*****' Apols for...

Re: Any ideas for tracing the history of my ex UK Minor LCV?

Hi,

Let me know the chassis nos. and I'll give you it's UK PO history!

Cab number would be great too....

(x Z37923-4 5????? x)

Engine Nos if original will be a 'PO special'....10V/451E/L?????

Re: GPO/PO Minor vans

Hi Mike,

No-one has even attempted them.

The aim of the game is to accurately date cabs when chassis numbers are unnavailable.

By the by, 609 FUU is still about!

GPO/PO Minor vans

I'm putting together a book on the subject of GPO/PO Minors vans.

bit stuck on the cab number section, therefore would appreciate chassis/cab details from owners willing to help!

may even try Civilian LCV's if enough are forthcoming!!

Re: GPO/PO Cab numbers....(Yawn!)

Unless you're seriously interested in the number crunching aspect of LCV's it won't be much of a read....

what's the cab number of your motor....(x Z35127-34 2????? x) if it's a '70 civvy...

Re: GPO/PO Cab numbers....(Yawn!)

Loopy-LouM Have tried all LCV contacts.....no joy!!!!! Indeed the 'Experts' at MMOC themselves told me I was wasting my time.....needless to say I ignored them and the result is in the forthcoming book. This mindnumbing book also contains all known GPO/PO Minor registration numbers...53000(ish), as ...

GPO/PO Cab numbers....(Yawn!)

Has anyone been bonkers enough to attempt making sense of these? Have managed to do 1953-1959 and 1964 onwards....BUT am at a loss with the ones in between...(sigh!) (x 12345 (xBMB ???x) P????? x) = Series 2 Engineers (x 12345 P????? (x BMC ???? x) = " Mailvan this is where it gets confusing......
