That doesn't sound too bad... the £6, not the scowling. Wouldn't want that, really. There are 16 on the poll, saying they'd like to come, with another 4 helpers. 30 seems a good figure for expected turnout.
Happy Minoring!

No, but as it's the only bit of research to hand reagrding projected attendance rates, 30 seems a good turnout - about what you'd expect for a branch rally, really. It may be less, but I doubt it would get to the stage where Ray and Cam are standing in the carpark alone...
Happy Minoring!

This weeks update... for the R@lly
We're planning a 30 mile drive session starting 10:30am at Banbury, via a pleasant scenic route through Warwickshire with arrival at the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon by 11:30. There we will join up with those who had a long jorney and arrive at Gaydon directly.
More to come... Watch this space!
Cam is putting together a webpage with further details (looks good already ), and entry forms will be available by approx mid April (after Gareth's dissertation)

Cheers Ray! Yeesh, the world stops for academia, doesn't it? ;)
I've had a bit of a think, and I might not be able to make it to Banbury. Dinnae worry tho', because I know how to get to Gaydon, so if someone is needed to usher Mogs about for those who prefer to go straight to the Museum, then I can be on hand.

Gareth,
Fabtastic! Yes, It will be usefull to have someone at Gaydon early - thanks for the offer. It will take a bit of organisation to work out the right tickets for the people who pre-paid.
I did wonder that a 30 mile drive on top of a long journey is a lot for some people!
As you come from a Northerly Direction, you'd have to drive past Gaydon to get to Banbury in the first place.
For those (the majority..) coming up from the south the scenic tour doesn't add a lot of miles anyway.

As the MMOC forum is international, how about the next one being out this way.
Or shall Fweddy & I organise a down under "regional" rally? (Might be a bit lonely though.)
Anyway, hope it all goes well.

You pay for the ferry, mate, and I'll sort the spares!
25th July... I have a nagging feeling I shall be in Italy, then... Unless I'm not going until the week after....
D'you reckon we could organise a stand for the National?

Well that will be a reasonable drive for Phyllis, GarethI have a nagging feeling I shall be in Italy,
A stand for the National were you thinking along the lines of
`MORRIS OWNERS WEBSITE OUTDOOR GATHERING`
or is that a bit too subtle
Cheers
