Looks like the site crashed for a while. Deleted my post.
Anyway, I'll try to repeat it.
Your truck looks much like my '61. It's all original (for an export to US) except for a replacement bonnet. My original did have the raised trim that matches the doors'. Bed is different than yours, but the rest looks the same.
My doors are 31" wide.
Let me know if I can give you any more pics. Happy to see another pickup here.

very similar doors, but not 'the same'pickups (and vans) had the same doors as the four-door saloon, which are narrower than the doors fitted to the two-door saloons.
Some differences may be the locks but also the 4 door has stainless door tops.
Doors and bonnets are commonly changed, so that doesn't really say anything.
My money is on the wrong 'chassis plate' (ID plate on the bulkhead) having been fitted to an LCV - either by accident or on purpose for whatever reason. If the number is also stated on the car documentation then this mistake is likely to be an old one and it's unlikely you'll be able to get back to the correct numbers.
If tere is a different number on the paperwork then that may be the correct one.

Ah, right, cheers. (Odd that my van has the stainless door tops - perhaps someone liked the look of them and swapped them over at some point.)rayofleamington wrote:very similar doors, but not 'the same'

But they are still the same width as the four-door doors, aren't they? as opposed to the two-door doors?
Extraordinarily unlikely to be a saloom body on an LCV chassis. as the engine bay floor would need to be changed/modified to make it fit - saloon steps down to 'chassis' at rear of bay, LCV doesn't. Easy to tell if you know the vehicles. The body (unless a trav) would also need radical mods. I'm puzzled - why would "it would appear its a pick up chassis with the front half of a saloon fitted". The rears of vans/P-Ups were often replaced when the originals rotted. I don't quite see the mystery.

Please send me the body number and I can tell you if that cab is from an LCV or not but it seems to me that over the years the ID has just been switched..................not easy to rectrify now but thats what happened.
It has a non standard back so it may have even started life as a van! Sadly you may never know unless you trace the last owner or if you pay £5 to the DVLA they will send all previous keepers and history that will be for the Car I am sure but they may know something
You true chassis number should around 25xxxx and if its a genuine pick-up it should start MAU5 or AAUC. If you want any other info please feel free to e-mail me
