Off come the L plates

Post by stephenpolhill »

Well, I did say I would let some of you know. I have just passed my driving test. Now the world is mine to explore (depending on petrol prices). Good luck to those who are learning and have tests soon as well.
Steve :P :D  :)

Thanks very much guys. I have been running errands for the parents for the last couple of ours, Certainly feels strange with no one in the front seat but the car looks better without L plates on.
I will watch out, I now there are tonnes of nutters (none in morris Minors :P) and my cousin wrote her car off a couple of weeks after passing so I will be watching out.
Thanks again

Wooop! Well done Steve!

Expect to use loads of petrol in the first few weeks as everywhere you go you'll want to take the longest route!

Are you planning on coming to the national?

I still sometimes go out for a drive just for the sake of it when I haven't really got anywhere to go. Just becuase I enjoy driving Tim so much

Although this happens less and less lately due to petrol prices edging their way up again

Nice, well done! It's a great feeling isnt it? Have fun and take care! I am the only person left in my college that hasn't, Crashed, got a ticket, lost their lisence through speeding, or been done for drink driving. Just take care, use the gears and accept you don;t know owt, and everyone else is an idiot. Then nothing should suprise yuo!

Congrats :)
Just remember that Rome wasn't built in a day - don't expect to be powersliding the wet corners and taking the dry ones on 2 wheels before the basics...
