Re: Spotted today.
Yesterday evening on the M25 between junctions 6 and 7 in Surrey. A low-loader carrying a very weird cargo... a pair of Austin/Morris LD ambulances with Wadworth bodies. Lengthened and joined back-to-back so apparently a driver's cab at each end. Painted bright yellow.
Sadly no photographic opportunity possible.

Something different today, lined up outside the Severn Valley Heritage Steam Railway station at Kidderminster. Who remembers these...? Three generations of Scammell Mechanical Horse.

Hi Tom, I missed another meet... Hopefully i will get along to the next one, Is it still the last Sunday of the month?palacebear wrote: ↑Sun May 27, 2018 3:55 pm Monthly classic car meet at the Old Waggon & Horses near Kidderminster. No Moggies except for Max but this 1963 Austin J2 7-seat mini-bus caught my attention. It was on it's first outing since 1998. Must be a challenge to drive as the floor gearchange has 1st and 3rd closer to the driver than 2nd and 4th are!20180527_153410.jpg20180527_153316.jpg

Re: Spotted today.
I personally missed it, but on Saturday 2nd June, we were in Upper Broughton Leicestershire helping our daughter collect a bed she'd brought on fleabay.
While I had my back turned, tying the bed frame to the roof rack of my Ford Kuga, the better half saw a White Moggie decked out in Wedding Ribbons pass behind me along the A606. She didn't get a change to clock the Reg No., but she said it looked very smart.

Re: Spotted today.
Took Max for his weekly run out to Nick's Snack Shack on the Bridgnorth Road, where I had a crafty bacon butty. Whilst I was there, this pulled in....

Re: Spotted today.
There was a Triumph TR6 broken down outside my house last night the head gasket had blown and the car has only done 160 miles in the last 13 years. He said its breaks down a lot may be because of lack of use. The recovery came towed him home.

Re: Spotted today.
Went for a run out to the Cotswolds today. Around Hartlebury and Evesham there were lots of Jags (XK120s XK140s XK150s andE-Types). Possibly heading to Shelsey Walsh...?
At Broadway, alongside a house near the newly-opened station at the GWSR heritage railway, there was a down-at-heel, two-tone grey Rover P4; reg.no. WMR***. Couldn't stop to take a pic.
Parked in the High Street, Bourton-on-the-Water was this Minor van. Reg.no. suggests 1961. Clap-hands wipers and small windows in rear doors. Also in Bourton-on-the-Water, spotted and (rather surprisingly) correctly identified by Mrs. PB who usually doesn't know her Aston from her Elva, this rather nice Riley 4/72 with an MGB overdrive 'box fitted. Finally and again, no opportunity to take a photo, in a driveway near Stow-in-the-Wold, a very shiny Austin A40 Farina Mk.1 Countryman with tailgate open. Finished in red (Agate Red...? Tartan Red...?) with black roof.

Re: Spotted today.
On holiday in Shropshire and caught a glimpse of a nice grey saloon caught in a traffic jam just south of Telford. The temporary traffic lights had failed, showing red in both directions!
Anyone on here?

Re: Spotted today.
Farlow, a little hamlet near Clee Hill. Holiday cottage that is dog friendly.
Used to come to the area a lot in the '70's as a geology student (world class geology in Shropshire!). We're having a great time, weather perfect. Old Castle pub in Bridgnorth excellent, fab time today at Blists Hill Victorian town. Ludlow and Church Stratton as nice as ever.
Think I may have got caught on camera doing 34 in a 30 thought
