PB looks dark green late series 2 - you can just see the later grill surround. Both front doors have mirrors fitted. cannot see any VRM tho. It has that nice tinny sound as the doors are shut. it starts to back out but the angle changes before much can be seen. No clear view of the driver either.

Anyone on here own it ?

As far as I can make out, the ad was filmed on location in Pollensa (Majorca) and at La Fortaleza (apparently the residence of the Governor of Puerto Rico).

But it is definitely a RHD Minor!

The 'Scotsman' says; 'The five-part series of Christmas ads was shot in Scotland, with the first at Wemyss Bay Station in Inverclyde and the last further down the Clyde coast at Culzean Castle in South Ayrshire.' AND 'The final ad - to be screened for the first time on STV tonight - shows Freeman turning up to pay her a visit, finding her at a family party on a beach below Culzean Castle.'

Had a bit of a double take scrolling down those pictures, thought for a second that the tortoise head in the next slide was the cars exhaust pipe :D

Having seen the ad again, the woolly hats and overcoats do indeed suggest Inverclyde more likely than Majorca ! :D

I saw a saloon in Berkhamsted this afternoon. I was in my modern car as my Morris having work done to it and is also being a pain to start.

Spotted today in a pub car park at Wolverley Lock... almost totally covered with snow... Austin or Morris 'Landcrab'. Could just make out Mk.2 rear lights and dark blue paint but couldn't tell whether 1800 or 2200

Anyone on here been to the One Stop convenience store at 18 Warsash Road, Southampton SO31 9HX??

See the image to this report:
https://www.shponline.co.uk/convenience ... n%20Court-

Rather surprisingly, the report hasn't just lifted the image from Google Earth....

Now if only the council would prosecute themselves for all the potholes in the roads...

Anyone seen 'The Indian Doctor' drama series? Features a black late 1000 pickup with a false plate to make it more like an early 60s model.
cheers

Excellent series showing just how much our society owes to immigrants. The stills on Google show lots of shots of Rovers, A30 /35 . Fords but no minors!

Took Max out for a run today and stopped for a bacon butty at Nicky's Snack Shack on the Bridgnorth Road, where we were spotted by club member and forum contributor 'Shropshiremoggie', who interrupted his journey to Worcester for a quick natter :)

Being posted in Saudi, bacon buttys are the thing I miss most!

The lack of booze is not a big deal, but I do like a bit of dead pig now and then :)
