K-reg started 1st August 1971. Plenty of unsold Travellers knocking about for a few months after production ended. I had one (also K-reg years ago).

Presumably an Adderley Park built car. Wonder if it's on POMMReg's list?

Watching Joan Hickson strut her stuff as Miss Marple in the 1989 version of 'A Carribean Mystery'. Filmed on location in Barbados, complete with a rather dusty black 4-door split-screen saloon parked outside the Coral Reef Hotel.

Spotted this G reg Traveller early on Boxing Day morning in Wimbish, near Saffron Walden - Not one I have seen before nd not a member of the local Branch. In general it looks nice. Some worrying dark patches on the wood though.

Half-heartedly searching for a replacement for Mrs PBs knackered Vauxhall Astra today. Stopped at a used-car sales place on Chester Road South in Kidderminster to give a Suzuki Grand Vitara a quick tyre-kicking. In a locked compound behind the place, largely concealed by undergrowth was a seemingly complete Vauxhall FB Victor in 2-tone Dusk Rose with Venetian Red roof. The undergrowth, and a pair of free-range rottweilers, made photography impossible!

Haven't ruled the Grand Vitara out yet so if we go back there I'll ask nicely :D I too have a soft spot for the Victor 101 especially the VX4/90 version. Even better would be the much rarer 'same-shape-but-bigger' PB (appropriately) Cresta/Velox

Decades ago I had a late FE Estate, which I think was badged as a 4/90, the springs were so soft the whole body was a bit near the ground and would scrape the top of the driveway slope if it was loaded with more than the Driver!
It had the larger one piece headlamp arrangement and one day the Mrs had a small disagreement with a supermarket trolley enclosure, just enough to break a headlamp. A replacement was so expensive, I swapped out the pair for some older FE headlamp assemblies from a breakers at a fraction of the cost before selling the car!

Another Traveller spotted in the car park of Pets at Home in Bishop's Stortford. Took the opportunity to thrust an Uttlesford Branch leaflet into the gloved hands of the very nice lady waiting in the passenger seat. (Perhaps she was gloved because she saw me coming and not because the Minor heater didn't work). She said that the car was her son's and they were keeping it going whilst he was overseas (Chicago ?)

Very nice clean interior and good paintwork. The woodwork had been painted with dark stain which is usually an indication of rot somewhere. The car bore a sticker for the now defunct (?) Lea Bridge Road Traveller Centre.

Indeed. It gets steadily worse and all this rain we've been having won't be helping. I bet it leaks like the proverbial sieve. Doesn't even deliver pizzas, to my knowledge, just sits there as an advert..... :(

Not before time! Be nice if they did deliver in it - you'd know when to set the table as soon as you heard the familiar Moggie exhaust note approaching!

I don't watch Eastenders or any other soap for that matter, but accidentally caught a minute of it just now... in time to see a blue Triumph 1300 (just pre Dolomite/Toledo era) JMJ807G looking quite tidy and parked in Albert Square.
