Whooop whoop!

Post by webbnuts »

Well, I've spent 7 months working on "Blackie", and my hard work was rewarded yesterday when the MOT inspector not only issued a pass certificate, but also commented on the good condition of the underside! There were two advisories, both of which were only tyres!

Having an MOT meant myself, my wife, my 18 month old daughter, and my massive dog were all able to bundle in and spend the day cruising round! This was the first chance I have had to test the new electronic ignition, and it didn't skip a beat.

I can't think there are many (nearly) 50 year old cars, that manage to fit a dog, buggy, baby seat and two adults in and happily haul them all round for day!

I have kept a log of most of the work I did, if you want a look its an online blog;

Now I can start building my new 1098cc engine :)
